    Every bill? Or do you mean every bill except the 90% that get passed by both major parties?

    Sorry, every bill that the masses get to hear about via the media. You have a good point there. We don't really know what is going on most of the time :)

    All we see on the media is the arguements but a great majority is bipartisan. The real fireworks happen when there is a minority government in the lower house :)

    Yes we do, boozy lunches, grandstanding, media conferences for the 2 minute 6pm news story, back stabbing with a bit of name calling in question time thrown in.

    Don't forget, all Prime Ministers who don't control the upper house hate it. Recall Keating's famous remark, "unrepresentative swill over there", god he was annoyed.

    If you have 18% that don't care-then you just don't know with Labor they may win ,with their plans for neg gearing 1-7 billion savings,banks royal commissions ,medical insurances companies linked to banks,..

    I meant like the more we change prime ministers the more we will be paying for it. I know we vote for the actual party.

    stability is the key for the economy. It is impossible to plan or execute a strategy that is beneficial in the long run if all the politicians only care about votes.
