Title pretty much sums it up.
I'm looking to avoid a quick flight up to Brisbane on Saturday to check up on some completed painting and landscaping before I pay the final bills. Don't want to keep these guys waiting but also dont want to pay final installment without knowing the jobs completed satisfactorily as agreed.

    I haven't appointed a PM yet...

All of my trades guys send before / after photos.

Or otherwise have your PM to project manage the reno so you don't have to be involved?

I've been putting it off for no reason really other then I feel obliged to go with one in particular but not confident in their service. Need to sort it out soon , place will be ready for a tenant in a week or so.

@Shady do a search on here for recommendations for good PMs depending on what area of Brissy you're needing. I'm sure there's quite a few investors who can give you their 2c worth, and once you decide it's a matter of completing paperwork within 24hrs in most cases. Best of luck with it all.

...in that case does anyone have any comments about either LJH Aspley or Ray White Aspley...I know Ray White Aspley are part of the larger Ray White Northside group and the PM's all work out of Taigum

You better get a wiggle on as I would have had it all lined up way before 1 week out, rentals are a bit soft as well and you may be missing the best time of the year !

    Hi Shady,

You could appoint an independent building inspector to check the work at regular, specific stages for you. They will be able to send you a report with photos and recommendations.

Pay someone from Airtasker $50 to go evaluate and send you 50 pics.
