I know I have been allocated all the shares I applied for under the SPP. I just want the darn documentation before I head off and would prefer it electronically instead of a piece of paper sitting in the mail box.

Nah. GOD = Grumpy Old Dad.

And as I suspected the info given was BS.

I'll deal with it at some other time.

Because the abacus, quills and button up boots are the more mature technology obviously. Silly boy, get with it! :D

I know we discussed it a few times but gee I’m loving having all doco / records online more and more. I look foreword to the scanner being used less and less over time which it is just like we get very little postal mail anymore. Even Bunnings allow you to SMS a receipt to your phone. Goes straight to the HOME CONTENTS folder on Google Drive for warranty / insurance purposes. You learn to think differently looking for every opportunity to get stuff in electronic format upfront.

Very true. Not only is it easier, it probably reduces the chances of important documents going missing or stolen.

I am "just" over the age of 18 and will use electronic facilities where they suit me.

I lost my cool yesterday and sent an inquiry to the share registry asking Why? And I did use email folks. Had too. I forgot to supplies to replenish the ink well.

The response if one is provided will be interesting.

No, because the share price seems to be going nowhere! Unlike individual shares that have greater volatility. A 2.5% discount is nothing.

I haven't received the documentation so I'll wait until it arrives before I decide what to do.

For the SMSF, any participation will be based on the funds written investment strategy. For personal holdings my investment strategy is also based on elements of it to a large degree.

Not particularly worried about any dilution aspects if I don't participate. The last SPP increased the number of shares by about 3% if I remember correctly. As usual with these capital raisings with most LICs not all shareholders participate and of those who do the applications are for various amounts and not all take up the max.

Will likely do so as I want build a larger position in WHF, though at price quoted it is higher than I've been paying so will see what 2.5% discount looks like closer to date.

Will take it up, part of sticking to my allocation plan - was about to buy on the market last week, glad I waited a bit.

    Applications now open.

Rather dislike the share registry for WHF. Having to access two accounts to obtain the SPP documentation and applications is annoying.

A minor grumble I know but in line with the apparently current tradition I've got to complain about something.

I'll mull over as to whether to apply or not and decide nearer to the closing date of 3 July keeping the Home Country v International allocation to the forefront.. Any application on behalf of the Superannuation fund will be according to the documented investment strategy.

Put a plan in place and then adhere to it. Present plan is to have a coffee.

How were you notified of SPP? I have shares in WHF but not notification either by snail mail or email

Logged in to the share registry. All the doco is available. SPP announcement was on the ASX as @ChrisP73 posted above.
