    I've never done it before .

    Ad in local high profile shop window or such like.
    If there's a hospital/uni near by and it's likely to suit people in there ask to post on their boards.
    Does the area have it's own fb page you can post on?

    Yeah I'd target the Buy Swap and Sell plus xxx community pages if you've decided on not using a PM. I've seen plenty of properties listed before. Also you can check out their Facebook page and see if you think they would be a good or bad tenant.
