    Hiya

Anyone in the building game able to ballpark answer re foundations for townhouse which is more cost effective vs cost prohibitive, is one half the price vs dble the price of the other....
    - Pier & Beam
    - Suspended slab
    - cantilevered building sections,
    - screw piles, and
    - contiguous piling

It depends on the site as the ground conditions dictate what will work - there may be more than one solution.

Contiguous piles are used where you're excavating a basement - you'll have a suspended slab over this level.

Screw piles will be used where there's poor bearing pressure.

The list goes on, google the rest.

You won't get an extra cent in sale price for fancy footings.
