    I find Altitude has comparable travel insurance to CBA. they're both underwritten by Zurich but you'll have to check what you're after as they have different type of payouts and extended warranties (I think Westpac gave 2 years extra insurance if it's 1-5 years? as opposed to CBA's 1). The big difference is that you don't need to purchase your travel with CBA, you just activate it before you depart.

    Amex travel insurances (underwritten by Chubb)... not good for family. Their comprehensive cover only looks after the main cardholder. There are very limited cover criteria for additional cardholders & family members.
