QLD Which Brisbane suburbs have lots of old 2/3 levels of old walkups ?

    What would be the closest to the city and a train station? My guess would be Windsor on the Northside.

    Windsor would be one of the closest to the city with a train station. Auchenflower would also be pretty close. I don't think Brisbanites see trains as being as important as in Sydney and Melbourne. Brisbane is more of a bus city than a train city when it comes to public transport.

    Places such as Coorparoo get frequent bus services to the city via the busways, often more frequently than the trains.

    I would always prefer the train in Brisbane personally.
    But the buses are pretty good now with the busways.

    Yes and other inner northern and inner western suburbs include Gordon Park, Windsor, Wooloowin, Stafford, Stafford Heights, New Farm, Ascot, Taringa, Toowong and Auchenflower
