If you did not have to consider work or getting a job.

If you did not have to consider the family (wife/husband, kids, parents ec..)

Where in Australia would you live?

The only restriction is it needs to be in Australia.

Sydney northern beaches, sometime in Melbourne and sometime in Brisbane. Most importantly, with my husband and dog

I really like the location of my Birkdale Brisbane house... But my new PPOR in Sydney is a spectacular slice of history, and worth quite a bit more than the Brisbane home.

I think the Brisbane climate might be the winner for me though. While Sydney's climate isn't so bad most of the year, it gets cold for 3 months. It also gets quite hot (over 40 degrees) where I am too, at least when I go to work... I don't really like the extremes in temps.

I can't really answer this. If there were somewhere else I'd rather be, then I'd move.

Montville or Maleny in the Sunshine Coast hinterland - Still close enough to the city to be able to get anywhere else, but far away enough from everything and in the middle of beautiful scenery.

In Crescent Head, NSW, the centre of all good things, and the cusp of of any astrological sign. What more could anybody want with the (oh so secret) Point Plomer just down the road?

Case in point 715 Plomer Road, North Shore NSW 2444 - House for Sale - 2010906985

Price is way (like, seriously way..) too much but then a huge amount of stock market muppets couldn't help themselves when BHP was $35 and now nobody wants it at $14.50, so the vendor might just catch a big one...

    Lucky them.

Actually, I'd almost be up for that. As long as it has views over the valley below. Beautiful. My family-in-law are working on acquiring a property up there as we speak. Fingers crossed

    Sure am :D

Like Bran said, if I wanted to be anywhere else that's where I'd be.

I spent 6 years living somewhere I didn't want to be. Life is too short to be unhappy!
