We are looking at setting up an SMSF and investing around $750k. We have invested in Sydney and Brisbane recently (just sold). Thinking where to go next - I like the look of Adelaide. We'd use a buyers agent wherever we go but thinking which city to go too. I'm no expert though like a lot of you guys so would appreciate any thoughts...

Sorry should have been clearer. $350k in the smsf. Thinking to buy for about $750k and borrow the rest

I suppose it depends on your goals and what you are looking for. If you are focusing on capital growth I am a big fan of certain pockets in Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth at the moment. The latter may be slightly behind the first two but this could provide greater buying opportunities. For 750k you could comfortably buy an established property, on a larger block with value-add potential in each of these markets.
