Where to start...

Hello. I am looking for an alternative investment option as I would usually buy investment properties. However, I am just not comfortable buying property at the moment with the ridiculous prices going around. I have bought Peter Thornhill's book and will read across your forums. But I do have a question...is starting with $25k investment too small an amount? I have more in cash and I realise that I would probably be using about $100k from the equity from other properties as a deposit for an investment property but... this is my initial foray so don't know what the norm is.

 

The 'norm' is whatever you are comfortable with or can afford. Minimum trade is $500.00 plus brokerage.
