NSW Where to invest?

    Tapping into brains trust here!

    Looking to invest with finance of around $550k available. Would love a freestanding house with development potential but open to all ideas.

    Single mum here so need property to be cash flow neutral at best.

    Would love any advice!!

    Start reading through all of the threads on here as there is some good information. Won't be much of what you are looking for in NSW so I would look interstate. Perth is a good option atm

    Do some research. Australia is a big place with lots of great places to invest. Nobody knows your situation like yourself, so don't expect people to post up solutions that are appropriate.

    Look at the major RE websites. Look at the prices for the properties and the potential rental income. From there you will find places that you can afford, and then research the areas to see which ones you like/don't like.

    More info like city/town would be helpful.. from there you will have to drill into the suburbs by putting a filter on realestate.com.. once you have narrowed down some options, people would be able to help you..
