Unfortunately unable to attend the catchup on Oct 31 as its my partners birthday so all heading out for the day. This has been great and I will pass on the interesting content to my daughter and will update in the future how it's all going for her.

How to meet a guy in Perth
    Step 1) Leave Perth
step 2) Go to a bar and chat to someone standing next to you
step 3) Meet their friends and their friends friends and their.... you get the picture.
    step 4) Enjoy your life.

People in Perth really have no idea how to be social.

Another option is the meetup.com website. Lots of social groups for all types of interests - dining out, Friday night & weekend socialising, weekends away & day trips, movies, walking, travel, various sports etc. A great way to expand a social circle. I have a number of friends that have found partners through meetup.com.

Most good relationships start with friendship first.

sorry I'm married now I am a 31 to self employed tradie carpenter and I grew up with country music and farm sort of life. Always at my mates farm and all our holidays were camping. Tell your daughter to go to the pro bull riding shows they have. She might find herself a cowboy.

Dear Jelsa, truth is stranger that fiction! Ha Ha !
I was thinking to move to Perth, ( to get myself a miner) just because the ratios of Men to Women were much higher!, Then through RSVP I met my 'Not employed' PHD love of my life,( who has a job now). We are very much in love.
I have the 'emotive' just do it Street Smarts, my sweetheart has the Analytical side covered, and it certainly is a dynamic attraction, we met through RSVP. PM me if you would like some further suggestions?

No she shouldn't. Most cyclists like themselves more than anything or anyone else.

Yes that is true, I started my carpentry business when I was 21 and it is still going strong 10 years later. Not all tradies have 6 packs because we love a beer . The bad backs we call shaggers back because as everyone knows tradies get the ladies

Yes you are right sorry and their second love is Lycra lol. And they also love wearing their helmets when they go for breakfast at the local cafe just incase people didn't realise they are cyclists because the Lycra might not have been a give away.

Ok, so meetups.com sounds promising and Brian you make me laugh. Blackie we originated from Vic around 10 years ago and the social scene is trickier to negotiate in Perth. Seaford only trick there is catching the miners on the right roster hehe. Glad you've found your man. Having a relationship where each partner has strengths to compliment each other is a major key I believe. My daughters job is high profile so I can't devulge details however she no longer works shifts so I think this will help her social life as well.

MOST dating sites are a "meat market" for casual sex. No matter what the profile says. Not ALL people on these sites are in it for casual sex, but most are. Even the "nice" ones. No offence to anyone using these sites for honest long term relationships, just what I experienced during my time on them. And it was the women I was meeting that told me this and looked at me weird for seeking a genuine relationship.

I have now met 4 people who met their partners, now married on dating sites, so perhaps it's not all bad.

Perhaps lots of screening, I am told men lie about their income and women lie about their age..lol
