    Oh sorry, I meant one duplex apartment, not both.. if only I could afford such a thing haha.

    Okay it appears Pimpama house and land packages would not the best start to my first IP.

    I'll have to keep looking, Hollywell seems like a decent place if i can get something cheap enough. Biggera Waters/Coombabha as well

    @Aussy you can try to look in Park Ridge QLD 4125 area.

    I bought a new H&L package in the area last year for $300k.

    The suburb will also be build with amenities around it, hence making it a good place for investing or living as your PPoR.

    I'd probably steer clear of Pimpama, there is a lot going on there and if I were to buy in the area it would need to be a bit closer to the upcoming Coomera town centre and train station.

    With house and land packages you need to also be wary of which builder you choose to use. As is often the case, you get what you pay for. In terms of tenant appeal and future growth to appeal to owner occupier in your exit strategy, make sure you go and view past builds and conduct your own due diligence.
