I read the hardcopy version and am a subscriber to the magazine. I think it's not out in the mag stands yet. I always enjoy seeing people take the sacrifice(in your case, heaps of overtime at work) and put in the hard work.

Find a place on the NSW coast or a bit further North in QLD that hasn't done much for a while.

Outer northern Brisbane suburbs but maybe it's moved already I haven't followed it closely.

Rocky is very weak at the moment, vacancy rates are elevated with rents and prices down so it would be too early IMO to buy anymore there presently.
Outside SEQ and Cairns much of regional Qld would probably be in recession.

The western suburbs and Ipswich I don't think have really moved yet, historically Ipswich follows Brisbane. That could be a good option.

Adelaide, it's good value and worth looking at.

Gold coast/Tweed is a viable option as well.

Regional NSW is worth looking at.

    I can't comment on Melbourne.
No where else really jumps out to me at the moment.
