Actually to be technical, Legoland is justacross the ditch in Malaysia - but Singapore has Resorts World in Sentosa, Universal studios etc etc. Agree its great for kids - hot as hell though.

Wouldn't live outside of Adelaide, and gives a great combo of nice houses, large blocks, great forests and gardens - perfect. :)

Ah, not a diss on Adelaide, just mean moving on up to living with the highlanders!
I've driven through there once, looked like a nice area.

Definitely Italy. At least during the Melbourne winter.

Failing that, Brisbane/Gold Coast would be where I spend the winter. My Mediterranean blood will never get used to Melbourne weather. :p

    Only 20 years to go!

Why is Melbourne like the 3rd biggest Greek populated city outside of Greece?

Oh man, seeing Rose and Butler live would be amazing. I'm the same as you, i'm hoping he stays healthy. Always wanted to see Kobe play, but that's out the window, especially when he's shooting 1/14 like yesterday lol.

    I dunno, ask Greek people, I'm Italian/Maltese. :p

I never asked my Nonni why they came to Melbourne over anywhere else in the world. Probably because this was what was on offer at the time and they just wanted to bail on Post WWII Europe as soon as possible.

@Lacrim if Singapore is hell, then what about:

    Oodnadatta
    South Australia 5734:cool: ?

Oodnadatta has a desert climate (Köppen climate classification BWh) and has also recorded the highest reliably measured maximum temperature in Australia: 50.7 °C (123.3 F) on 2 January 1960

The issue with D Rose is he's a bit small compared to other point guards. Kobe and lebron all are taller and as you get older you need use footback and post up a bit. like jordan he was a dunker, slasher in his early years and in his later years a full post game plus footwork to get shots up.

The league has evolved again with Steph Curry, the shooting stroke and no look passes. AMAZING. When do you think they'll drop a game?

Is anyone keeping a tally and looking at holiday houses to invest in!
Seems Italy and brisvegas/sunny Coast leading the way.
And a lot of people exiting Melbourne, that's understandable though :p

I could realistically move to one of many cities in the world already but in all honesty there is no where I'd rather live than where I am atm, perth.
Firstly because of family, im extremely close to mine. Also, im involved in so many different ventures here and perth and Australia in general is a place even today blessed with so much opportunity it's astounding. It's also taken me years to build up the personal and professional network I have, to start again would be a bit of a negative imo

At some stage they would they're not the 96 bulls. I actually went to see the Bulls play in Chicago in 98 last year Jordan played and it was a whole different way the game is played now. If lebron have a bit more help he could have had another ring

Having the heat is one thing.
I have experianced days of +45degrees during summer and then -45 during winter. If you include windchill there is a 100degree variation within a year.

good thing its a dry heat :p

Not for a while a - they've got some easy teams coming up. Suns, Kings, jazz, hornets. I predict the raptors will beat them in Toronto. That will end the streak.

My wife and I cannot decide where we want to retire. I am 31 and she is 27 so we have plenty of time to decide. I personally want to go rural by an acre and enjoy the peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the city but she wants to live on the beach. The only thing we have decided on is me being a good husband i will compromise and live on the beach but away from the busy cities.

We have discussed in the next 10-15 years (pending kids) we will move north. I am a truck driver and she works in HR so we wont have a problem finding work.

When I can afford to semi retire I want to in our winter months travel to Canada and drive buses around the Yukon area for the tourists. My honeymoon was in Alaska/Canada and most drivers travel during the warmer months to work and return home in the winter.
