Last time I spoke to her, she mentioned that she was extremely busy with her business and wasn't really able to spend much time on PropertyChat.

Quite a few familiar handles recollection. I have read posts from most if not all of them.

    Dazz's was the interesting ones.
    HandyAndy's informative.

Does anyone know where 'bedeveloper' is?
Last I heard he was entering the US marker.

Mark has been living in NZ for some - last time I spoke to him, he was contemplating a move from the bottom of the south island (or as I used to tease him: Northern Antarctica), up to one of the cities for work. Haven't heard from him in some time though :(

Thanks Simon,I talked to Mark a few years ago when we were in Queenstown ..

Mark was going to drive up from where he was based to have dinner with us..

I think from memory he was working for a listed NZ based milk company ,and was in the process of starting his own business with another person but I still his phone number and will try the number when we go back over in a few weeks..

We never had dinner as his wife was unwell with the flu ,my Wife was also sick maybe next time and I pulled my back out in the snow..

He had a good quote..""Success is a state of mind""

Love it and true for everyone. It is not a dollar figure or title but what you want it to be (could be anything from getting a job/desired job, to the 50th IP).

Seems to be a trend when someone becomes more successful/involved in their business their forum activity diminishes. So those still posting here means one of two things..
    - You're so successful that you have far too much time on your hands and spend most of it trawling Property forums instead of sipping margaritas..
    or
    - You're not very successful at all...

I'm still slogging it out in camp B.

    Not at all.

Not everyone runs a business - and there are plenty of successful people here who hold salaried jobs, which helps pay for their growing property portfolio.

These people often have much more time to contribute because they don't have the un-ending pressure of running their own businesses.

Business activity can also go in phases - there can be times when they are incredibly busy and they don't have time to contribute much - while at others things are more relaxed and you'll see them jump back in a bit more.

Or they could have plenty of time living in the library of Long Bay and enjoying the internet use. :D:oops:

Firmly tongue in cheek @Simon Hampel. I'm just trying to justify to my IT department an average 7.5hrs site usage on PC in a completely unrelated industry.

There may be a reason some posters dont post anymore, may be the crap service they offer,, then hide behind legal threats blah blah blah.

Putting 2 & 2 together, you DO live in the Eastern suburbs, have time on your hands and share your bedroom with Bubba. OMG

Yeah, as I would expect, most people with very busy businesses, whether ones we like or dislike, have little time to BS around on propertychat.

Sometimes it’s good that certain members disappear. That austini bloke on Somersoft forum was a PITA:confused:.
