I know we're not old enough on PropertyChat to have this problem yet - but Somersoft could have had this.

We do have multiple generations posting here though (@skater @Lil Skater).

The funniest part is that Mum and I have been bantering on Somersoft/PropertyChat for 15 years and I’m still in my 20’s

Kids digging up their parents bearish posts from past corrections. 'You thought this property was overpriced when it was HOW much?'

He's too busy reading his tree house books. But they are about tree houses so maybe soon? I was 13, so he's still got 5 years.

I don’t think I’ll have that problem! My kids are very different to me.

Don't forget the alt-text! That's the best part of XKCD

"(c) You can have a scooter when you pay for it yourself, and (d) if you can't learn to start a new thread rather than responding to an old one, you'll be banned. [thread locked by moderator]"

It did get kind of confusing though, and lots of queuing for the computer too, because at the time, we only had one computer AND three of us posting from it, because Hubby, AKA @Bargainhunter was on there all the time as well. AND just to add to the confusion, the man that @Lil Skater later married was also on the forum, as was his father.

Try this (links are to Somersoft):
    1. @Skater and @Bargain Hunter had a daughter @Lil Skater
    2. @DaleGG and his wife (who I don't think was a member - but did attend at least one meetup) had a son @JamesGG
    3. @Lil Skater and @JamesGG got married and had children, but the kids aren't quite old enough to post on the forums yet.
I don't believe either Dale or James post here on PropertyChat - but the Skater clan all do.

There was at least one other Somersoft couple that I'm aware of (@michaelg and @yuch.) who met through the forums and also now have children - again, not quite old enough to be posting yet.

Ah, the family tree. My older sister was on Somersoft too, didn’t really post though and for the life of me can’t remember her user name.

@ttn not quite. The first time I met James I was 17, in high school and also lived in NSW.

@skater was the one that encouraged me to speak with James as I wanted to move to Melbourne. We were friends for about a year or so before I moved, and not knowing anyone else in Melbourne I kind of just stuck to him. That was almost 11 years ago, we’re now married with an 8yo and another one is cooking (but overdue!!).

In this PC world I thought it should have read...

"Wanted: Partner with good structure, great assets, sense of humour & own goat".

Maybe another tab for "Singles Chat" ie one IP.
