I wish I'd read that when our kids were younger. That is a really nice idea.

In all seriousness if this is a family friendly website there should be a spoiler warning or the thread title edited in case children who still believe in Santa come across it.

If kids are reading PC while they still believe in Santa, I think they shouldn't really be on this site.

Why don't you think kids should be on this site? I think it's good if they can learn about investing and money management while still believing in the magic of childhood.

Sure they can be on this site, but then if they are mature enough to comprehend the contents of this site, shouldn't they also understand the facts of life? I mean, we also have a hot thread that could be construed as being completely disrespectful to baby boomers right now. Baby boomers got the best of everything, free uni and now they are owning their $2 mill houses and still getting the pension!! The youth of today can't afford to buy houses, and it's the baby boomers fault, boo hoo. Can a 7 year old comprehend these issues?

I don't think they have to be mutually exclusive, kids can comprehend investment issues and still believe in Santa. In fact many kids still believe in Santa until early teens so I don't think it's a great idea to create a thread which destroys their innocence.

Only have to Google "Is Santa real?"
a plethora of links on how to answer this question when your child asks. In other words, Im betting this forum will not be the first place a child finds out.

Nope I was 12 and also believed in easter bunny. Hey it doesn't bother me if you're going to be the one responsible for ruining some kids belief, I won't be going to hell for it. Just be aware of what you're doing with these reckless posts

Oh come now, lets get real.
The internet has search engines that will tell your kids all about Santa, more than even you may know!

Ohhh... so I'm being reckless and going to go to hell am I? Well good... @# 1... did you know there's no such thing as hell?

Whoops. I think I just accidently broke another one of your beliefs.

Oh. I just realised something. There IS a hell.
Its having to deal with PC newbies.
