Trying to crunch numbers whilst the epidemic is ongoing will produce flawed data. Without a denominator to work with, we are walking blind.

I hope your investing math skills are better than your epidemiology math skills!

It's not just Math. There are too many other factors that need to be taken in consideration such as demographics, existing health conditions and so on.

yes family law will be good.

Commercial & private equity - the deals will go away until the govt funding ends and the bargains come

Interesting. 11.4% unemployment in June quarter.

I wonder how it works when the government can issue $250 billion in government bonds, and the Reserve Bank can purchase however much government bonds they wish!?!!!

And another update 4 days ago. If it isn't apparent yet, we are in uncharted territory and noone, and I mean noone, can tell where the world is going to be 4 months from now let alone 4 weeks from now.

ASX doesn’t seem to be too worried at the moment...no one really knows what the hell is going on at the moment.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison says modelling based on actual Australian data will determine when the lockdowns are lifted, and that some states and territories may test the water sooner than others.

"That's no time soon," he stressed.

End of the NSW school holidays I think we'll see some changes. Can't go out too positive before the Easter break and have everyone down at the beach, at church or the seafood markets.

I'm preparing mentally to have the kids have online school for all of Term 2. It's not what I want but it's what I think will happen. So I think we'll have this type of social distancing for at least 3mths more - we're in Perth and don't have some of the lock down measures Sydney/Melbourne do.

Of course being in Perth and having our isolation work to our advantage I think we might be able to ease before other states do.

Personal Injury is still going ok. Courts might push back matters, will cause some delays for trials that happen in the future in Bris.

That is only three weeks away. Too soon IMHO.

Before lifting restrictions, I believe the Government will want to:
    1. See how we go with winter, COVID-19 and the flu. At least one month of experience.
    2. Have broad community based COVID-19 testing with quick positive/negative reading (in 15 minutes). Not available in Australia yet.
So, I am still thinking it will be 1st August (based on University of Sydney modelling) or 1st July if the above two items go well.

The order you push the buttons in doesn't matter so it takes some of the difficulty out. So 1234 is the same as 2341 which is the same as 3412 etc.

Most shoe companies have a sensible return policy - you try them on at home (do NOT take them outside or get them dirty!) and if they don't fit, you return them.

Just be aware that shipping is really slow right now - AusPost have been having delivery volumes that make the pre-Christmas rush look slow in comparison.
