when is soil test report reqd

    Once one receives a planning permit.

    And you engage designer - to do working drawings.

    Would i be right in saying a soil test report will also be required asap so the designer can work the report results into the drawings..... I guess along with the engineer needing the soil test report too....

    Are you meaning a soil compaction test?

    just standard bore holes done - so that egineers no what soil result / slab class to rate

    The structural engineer will need the soil test results to design your slab/footings. Council wont let you guess it either. Tge whole lot then goes off to council so you can get a building certificate.
