    Fixed that for you ;)

My daily drive is a Suzuki Swift but 'The Camry' has been a part of my life for the longest. My grandad bought it brand new in 1987 and it was in that car I had my first 'drive' where, as a really young kid, I sat in my grandad's lap and 'drove' the camry into the garage. It's the vehicle that my law abiding grandfather to the extreme sped in a tiny bit to get me to school on time if I missed the bus. It's the car that was my wedding car where when I arrived my grandad opened the door then walked me down the aisle. It was the car that after my grandad passed away I bought off my grandma as I didn't want anyone else to own it. It towed the boat full of our belongings from Melbourne to Cairns and was a work vehicle while my husband started his business. I never thought I would be attached to a vehicle but I realised I am and now he's sitting unloved and looking abandoned around our house.

Below is now the Camry's replacement and weekender. Bit of an upgrade with all the mod cons like power steering and functioning air conditioning!

Same thing I've driven for the last 20 years; somebody else's car.

Jobs without cars are not in my vocabulary.

Keeping this 2014 Land Rover Defender 110 in relatively 'stock' condition.

Production of this classic ended a month or two ago. This is on a body / chassis design that goes back to the early 80's ( which had little change from prior series stretching back to 1948 ).

Will certainly hold value amongst the enthusiasts.

It's getting pretty old now, and I really haven't taken care of it like I should. It really only carries 2 adults, doesn't have air-conditioning, and I rarely get out of 2nd gear. But it was the last Barina that was made in Australia before they went to Korea.

Plus it has its own instathingy

I am, however, very seriously considering a new Hilux SR5.

    2012 Citroen DS3.

Soon to go. Doing more and more trail running so a soft roader is probably more practical. Probably second hand Audi Q3 or BMW X1.

My last vehicle was oddly a Citroen C3. After over 200,000km and a busted front shock I decided to go back to a Land Rover. The C3 did not like the rough dirt roads up at Gloucster and Barrington Tops.

I'd really like a tesla. Does Australia have charging stations like other countries though, I've never seen any here. Or can they just plug into the home 240v?

there are charging stations in sydney and melbourne, theyre rolling out Brisbane next and then perth and adelaide in that order I think.

in the meantime you can plug it in at home, 8 hours for full charge on single phase and 4 hours for 3 phase.

1 or 1.5 hours from a charging station plus they're free too.
