What is food for the rest of your life going to cost?

    Say $250/wk * 52 weeks * 40 years =

    PV = $250 * 52 * 40 = $520k if you were to buy all of your food today

But the pill isn't for the food, it's for never putting on weight or having health issues from eating as much as you want.

It would be amazing if they invented such a pill in the future ....

That would take out the self-control element which could cause other issues.

Cost would have to be commensurate with the benefit derived avoiding health issues bar still needing to eat

I would pay more than I would be willing to admit. I love food.

Also I just want to be clear: I'd eat mostly junk food. I'm no food snob. I'd hover up every morsel of working-man's food there is. Move the caviar aside; only KFC for me.

How about this, feed yourself enough intestinal worms, then you can eat as much as you want and not get fat.... would you do that?
Ok, there could be some side effects...

What about other health issues? Putting on weight is only one of them.

If I was guaranteed same deal as the pill, I'd say let's have a creepy, crawly feast!!

No hangovers? Sounds good. But then missing out on the restorative greasy burger after a big night out? Not the same if you're not feeling a bit dusty.

Having said that, buying the pill would be like buying years of life.

    Dilemmas.

Great question....but you don’t say that other health complications are eliminated, just that you don’t put on weight....that - in my view - lessens the attractiveness of the pill by about 50%. I reckon I’d pay about $150k.....substantially more if health complications were also eradicated by the same pill.

id eat ice cream, pizza, burgers and more pasta

Wonder if Star Trek food - derived from replication conversion of "matter" and protein resequencing - has no calories?

Must do for them all to fit into those form fitting outfits

Or, lap band surgery. So you feel full quickly, don’t eat so much and hopefully due to only having a small stomach, maintain a good weight?
