I have seen an auction where a Chinese couple sold their place and the final bid was 444k...they told the guy to pay 443k in the end. No joke.

    $504k

    Sold March 2014 for $442,500.
Not obvious (to me anyhow) how to sub-divide and make a profit.

I did not know that one, hehe.
You will notice I wanted to go 888 for the Alderley one too.

I don't know Chermside prices, but I'll say $670K (didn't look to see if anybody else has it).

Without looking at sold prices in that pocket If subdividable then I say 640k. If not I reckon mid 500s.

    FINAL guess is 570k.

545k. No time for premium DD this week. I'm giving it the 'basic package' DD price. :)

    Update guys :

Property was passed in at 495k.
    Vendor would consider anything 500k+.

Thanks for the update. Should be easy for the highest bidder to negotiate a sale at $501k.

All those picking high $500k - $600k were way off the park.

Will have to stop picking QLD auctions especially with the clearance rate being around 30%. Makes it hard to get a winner...

I'm surprised it didn't sell with a reserve of $500K?

I picked a higher amount, but have no idea about values on that side of town.

I did pick one on my side of town this morning though :D:p.

Not buying. Saw a cracker of a house last weekend and went to the auction to see what it went for. I got it about right.
