    Started as a council surveyor and building inspector (in UK), went self employed drawing plans for home extensions and the like for a few years, started selling a computer program as a sideline and have now been a one-person software business for 27 years.

    As for me, IT for 15 years and more recently a BA for the last 9-10 years.

    I am a translator, organisations tell me what they think they do in their operations and I translate it in plain English and as well as in system/IT language to what I think they do...sometimes I make mistakes but they still love me as I also have a cert II in black magic which helps in the govt/ public sector.
