Actually not a fan. Looking forward to getting a new bike.

Anyone have recommendations for good training shoes? Be mainly using it for HIT training. So many reviews and what's good..... I have bought shoes in the past when they seemed to be good at the store but was not suitable after a couple of sessions.

BJJ, good for the body and mind, and paddling a surfski, nice to be on the water.

Interesting thread. I bought a second-hand Nautalis elliptical stepper 12 months ago for a very small price and at the time I got buyers' remorse almost straight away because it's incredibly bulky and takes up lots of room in my garage. At the time I was moving house and I was getting tired of having to make time to get to gym and home again whenever I wanted to work out. Anyway it has turned out to be a first-rate investment and something that I use almost every single day, usually for half an hour after work combining it with some free weights I also have in the shed. I have actually lost my middle-age spread and my resting heart rate has gone down. I have also noticed I'm more alert during the day and I'm sleeping much better... the only thing that I'm going to change is that I really want to have a TV out there rather than just the radio so I can watch the news while I'm working out.

Does finger exercise count, if so at least 2 hours per day

Funnily enough, finger strength training is one of my least favourite exercises but I try and do almost daily. We have 2 hangboards here at work which I can squeeze in some sessions.

I have a dirty mind, so to me, it does count cos it would work the forearms too.
    2 hours is a lot...

    New favorite - sprinting.
I feel young again, (when injury free).

Can't do overhead squats for the life of me due to mobility restrictions, not even with an empty bar

Can't you work on unrestricting your restrictions?
    Slowly, slowly...

x7 f45 sessions 2 weeks ago, x6 f45 sessions this week and hoping that I can make another 6 to 7 sessions for this week. I don't think I could ever go back to normal gym again because seeing so many people push their training, encourages me to keep on going.

208km on the bicycle this week.

Doing an out and back route that is about 29.5km. Takes me 75 to 80 minutes on my mountain bike.

    Training for my next trip.

My next trip includes 10 days of cycling in Cuba. Distance on the bike will be 583km. Fortunately 2 rest days programmed into the journey.

    What are your world records?

Sounds like a good trip. I recently rode 8 days in New Zealand for about 1,500km.

    This thread outlines my WRs.

I've just discovered that jogging the memory was classified as exercise. :p

Gotta be careful as you get older... your mind stays in the past but your body doesn't.
I did 30 mins weight machines then 60 mins on a bike in the gym the other day, disorientated afterwards, lost consciousness on the street outside, face plant into the footpath, blood everywhere, overdid it. In future just one or the other.

Training up to tackle Mt Everest base camp for late 2017 to early 2018 with some friends and I. Called the team the 'Bachelors' but the issue is we all seem to have partners now....
