No that requires a lot of skill and coordination which I don't have.

My wife and I took up Karate recently. We're loving it.

Every chance I get, I like to carry 20kg - 80kg of cylinders and other strange objects to the bottom of the ocean and back up again.

I love it too, but my body hates it :(
Had 2 attempts to train refularly for sprinting in the past 12 months, but injuries put me out, so frustrating.
Ready to try again very soon.

I like the first 15 seconds while I feel invincible and feel like I can go like this forever. Then reality start taking its hold

Hiking. Ideally up (or down) steep or just plain big hills. A great work-out, even when descending. At altitudes above 3000m, even better. The latter is not easy to do locally though.

We should probably have a meet up next time that involves trekking/walking/hiking. Anything physical that most of us can do.

Loving running at the moment, but ramping up the k's too quickly too early and lack of stretching has resulted in injury..

Wait until you hit 55 years and try all that!! :p:eek:

I get shin splints really easily if I don't ease into it gradually.

That's why the bike is good, lower impact.
Easier to shake the rust off without being sore.
