So I guess whoever bought in 2013 and sold them on 2015 is making a huge fortune for any Property there.

You should ask a more important question from a furtune teller... Something like how long will you live.

The Drue is holding on strong. Look at recent sold sales.

It's putting up a fight! Tough bugger it is.

We'll have to wait for more sale results I think.

Wait. Quick. Someone hand me the gaff. I think I see it!

We'll see.......time will reveal all.......matter of time.....a couple of interest rates rises will tell all about Sydney.

RR101....grow some cahones and come to the next meet. I'll even play some Bangara music for you....before the wet fish hits you. ;)

    Omg.. Prices have risen !!!
I remember one of my workmates buying a house out there about 5 years ago or so for 180k !! I think she even got it cheaper

Apparently it was right next door to a hotel/ pub called the Bidwell Clock whichthe carpark had a theme " Friday night fight night " and all the locals loved it .

What about all the ex housing commission that faces into the walkway laneways ... Surely they arent selling for over 400k are they ?

Prices haven't risen, they often just sell for a lot less than asking

Unless they come with perimeter security, razor wire, & 24/7 armed guards as part of the strata levies fees

Are we talking Mt Druitt, or Old Mt Druitt? Two different beasts!

Personally not my cup of tea, and like Datto, I've made a lot of money in the area. I rarely buy units, and I usually wait & buy when they can't give them away. Every single one we've bought has been well under market value at time of purchase.

We sold one around 6 months ago for $490k. It was a laneway facing brick property with no garage or carport.:D
