Just arrived in sydney for some rest and relaxation....first impressions is that its polluted , overcrowded, dodgy cab drivers, etc.. lol..this will be fun...i think id prefer brisbane to sydney anyday...makes brisbane look clean and green with honest people. A bit surprised as my previous trips to Sydney have very good. Hmmm..i think its that cg gains in the past yr have gone to peoples heads. :)

Where are you when you say "Sydney"?
Dodgy cab drivers is a given, crowded + polluted well that's a city. Harbour side suburbs and beaches can't be beaten...

Crowded CBD is a good sign :). Have you noticed all the cranes? Go for a walk over to Barangaroo.

I just arrived in Sydney and feel the same. Also I feel like no one in Sydney can drive haha. I think the crazies yelling across the street must be all too common. I've had like 6 instances of that today alone.

I liked Sydney when I was there, if it was cheaper living I would move there in a heart beat

Best thing about sydney compared to brisbane is that in sydney you can walk 6 steps and have an amazing coffee and food at every corner, in brisbane you have to drive 6km!

Sydney CBD will be chaotic over the next few years while they work on the light rail.

What are you talking about? I have been a Sydney-siders for 10 Years and doesn't notice this at all

I would say traffic in city is a bit better than usual now that it's holiday season. The haphazard maybe because the closing of George st to built light rail, negating any reduced traffic

The beaches are one of the best, so stay around those areas not CBD. Sane people doesn't want to drive through the city.

To be fair I braved the hoards in Pitt St on Boxing Day (I had so much rage at idiots haha) and I braved Bondi Junction this morning. So probably not ideal life choices haha
