I was wondering what was under the sheet when I walked into this property?

I found a 'how to' book on sex tucked away on a cupboard shelf.

Unfortunately, it was not very good and I read it wearing gloves. I think I left it in the same place for the next tenants.

I left the front of a car in a roof space once as I couldn't take it. I bet its still there (Chester Rd, Annerley) :)

It was a filthy lino floor - it came up well though

Took more than a bit of Jif.

Looks great though. Which city? And who did the kitchen?

    Ipswich, last year

Its a Bunnings Kaboodle kitchen that I had one of our handymen install + sparky and plumber.

Underneath the lino was fine - funny it put a lot people off though (which was good for us)

I better leave it there for this thread, don't want to take it off course.

I found an ornate looking hand bell. Think Game of Thrones "Shame! Shame!" bell.

Not a bad find in my opinion.

I subcontract for the DOH and do rubbish removal and house cleans for the Dept. I regularly find money at houses and find all sorts of items that they either couldn't carry with them when they do a mid night runner or stuff they forget they have hidden away.
This week alone I found about 20 X Rated HARDCORE adult dvds which were hidden under a wardrobe which I threw out, a set of barely used golf clubs in the back of a shed behind lots of crap and new still in there packaging children's toys
In the past I have found a barely used Layzboy leather recliner, all sorts of dvds, playstation games, cast iron driveway gates which I used as a feature at my place and all other stuff. Its amazing what people leave behind when they move out of DOH properties

    Sure you did ;)

What do you do with the stuff you find, you allowed to keep it?

Haha, I didn't want to keep the adult dvds.
I kept the golf clubs and the lazyboy and used the cast iron gates as a feature at my house.
It makes doing the job interesting as you never know what you will find :)

In about 40 days i'm going to be gutting a run down property.
I got a feeling I'm going to find some horrible stuff.

My parents lived in a house previously owned by a serial killer in the UK. They never actually discovered anything in the house, but found out years later his daughter was buried in the bathroom.
Little bit of a morbid story- Sorry:oops:

Knew it was somewhere up there, looks like an old QLDer.
What did you with the old stove nook?

Made shelves and enclosed it - so makes a good pantry now.

Good stuff, that's what I was thinking. And just one more off topic, did you leave the little window for light?
