What's the step to lay down turf?

    Won't be doing it ;)
    I'm not condemning those who does, i understand the reason why they want it.
    As for me, one of the little hangout park in Chatswood using this fake grass. It's quite hot in summer, and due to high traffic, if you put your hand on, it'll be covered in dust.

    The great thing about real grass is that it helps cool the environment around it. Fake grass gets hot.

    Sure. To each his own. If its laid out properly, it can be a very good thing. The winner for me is that I dont waste water ensuring my lawn is nice and don't have to bother about mowing and can be sure there are no hiding creepy crawlies. Absolutely 0 maintenance - just need to hose off bat **** and fruit droppings. Even in Darwin's heat it doesn't get hot. A lot of day care centres around here use it too. May be cheap sub standard fake grass is bad ?

    I don't believe what they put on the public space to be substandard though... it's not hot as in hot hot, but definitely a lot warmer than real grass.

    Also, I have dogs, I want them to be on real grass :)
