What's the downside of living in a farmland?

    Maintenance and finance are the main things.

    Melbourne and Brisbane are full of rural land near the CBD, I do not think it will be that expensive unless it is productive land, basically too small to be a proper farm & too big for most as it is too much too look after.

    1000-1500 sqm is enough space to do most things and you can find these in lots of places.
