    Shalom Shabbat.

I need to learn some words for our trip next year. Israel is just one stop, for two weeks.

I worked as a children's entertainer for a couple of years while at Uni. Parties and corporate gigs,
    Clown/spiderman/Ben10 etc.
I got pretty good at juggling and doing balloon animals.
    Never quite nailed face painting...

You said it the wrong way. It should be 'Shabbat Shalom'. :)

My apologies. Thank you for the correction. It's better to get it right, now rather than later.

I used to do competitive ballroom dancing. One useful thing from this, is that I've taught various friends how to do a bridal dance (not always a waltz) for free.... it's great to be able to save a bit of money on what can otherwise be an expensive day :)

I played piano one year for a high school rock-opera production based on Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody. I had been studying classical piano at the time. These days I have a piano, but can barely play anything on it.

But in general I've been more of a jack of all trades - not professionally, but in relation to sports and outdoor activities (ie. I've tried lots, been quite good at most, but not great at any).

I have this skill too... it's called "digit span" where you are able to recall large numbers of digits

Someone with above average ability at recalling large amounts of data is referred to as a "mnemonist"

More useless facts for the PC community :p

I don't know that its such a big thing but I believe I am one of if not the only white guy (not counting kids with mixed parents who grew up in Sri Lanka) in the world to fluently speak Sinhala. I lived there for five years growing up and learnt the language in about six months when I was 11 from nothing but watching their TV and listening to their music. My parents were going through a divorce and I was even cross examined in court entirely in Sinhala when I was no older than 14.
Also Id like to see if I can Join the meet and greet on the 21st. Wednesday is usually my day off so whats the deal with getting a seat anyone?

Sounds similar to my dad, he counts the numbers of words and tallies them up in his head as he reads a book. Then at the end of each page he will yell the total it drives mum crazy. I throw long words at him all the time and he will respond with in 1-2 seconds with how many letters that word had.

Not a revelation for those long time members, but our entire family roller skate, and have represented Australia at World Championships. Lil started skating at 13months of age!

I have no talent. I can't even Shabbat and Shalom together properly.

However bad spelling bothers me so I'm going to correct the spelling in the thread title from tallent to talent.
