OK so ill go first. I used to be a professional magician to earn extra money. Not the tricks you get from the easter show bags, but some of the stuff you see on tv. Shows would range from weddings, bar mitzvahs, corporate functions etc and would usually do 1-2 gigs a week for a period of 4 years. Long story short my grandfather was a magician and passed on his showmanship, sleight of hand, misdirection skills and specific magic repertoires to me when I was very young and super eager to learn. After that I just learnt by myself and started to create my own routines. There used to be a professional magic shop in the city called 'the prop shop',and I became friends with the owner and we shared apparatus, skills and also he passed on bookings to me that he couldn't do himself. Oddly enough, many of the skills are transferable to property investing.

Maybe at a future meetup I can perform a little for fun, if people like :)

    Whose next?

Edit: Obviously mine is not spelling!

When I was a teenager, during my holidays. I used to work at market gardens, growing letteuce and carrots

One thing I learnt and became very good at (don't know whether I became skilled or proficient at) was:

    Shovelling chicken manure
During my working life, I branched out into many other types of manure. I have continued that journey on PC :) :).

Definitely looking forward to meeting with you one day Eva! I think we'll get on very well. It will be surreal. Meeting all these people I have interacted with for such a long time and meeting for the first time...haha...
Rubbish - don't believe it for a second.

I have what I call 'rapid recall' of numbers. I use my right index finger to write numbers on the back of my left hand, and can recall the numbers. I do this mostly when I'm measuring steel to quote or invoice (which can be up to about dozens of numbers at a time to remember), but can also write phone numbers down if I don't have phone or pen and recall them hours later when I need to put them in my phone. I also memorize most phone numbers, bank account numbers and credit card details.

Well, I wouldn't narrow it down to just chicken mate but i like to think of myself as an decent BBQ Chef. My family was always big with bbq's so I learned from a very young age. Been doing it for many many years. My friends love the marinated portuguese style chicken that I do...but I also can, pork belly & lamb backstrap pretty good too. Wouldn't call it a talent, just had a lot of experience. :)

Look at the black dot at the front leg - those are males. You can also see the abdomen, male has thinner abdomen and larger black area, but some flies are quite ambiguous so front leg is the only way.
