I bought a few hundred FMG shares about 10 years ago for about $11 , they went down hill of course as soon as I purchased them. Good to see they are starting to come back. I still have them and the dividends are OK.

All done, but i just have to ask the question with the 50000 orders as when one works that out in hard cash are you still playing with those investment levels in money terms ..I have a few start-ups on the list a few 300000 plus and every time they kick in like this morning one cent makes it all seems worthwhile..

This may be controversial, but I believe WBC and NAB shares are cheap at the moment.

What makes these cheap ? It appears to me their margins are shrinking, Capital requirements are increasing. Where is revenue growth going to come from?

Revenue is going no where for the next 5 years (perhaps even down). My thinking is how much worse can it get. Capital requirements will always be managed and balanced by the regulators against impact on overall economy. Headline margins are under pressure but how much lower can it get.

Let's say revenue and dividend payout falls by another 20%, dividend yield would still be 7% gross

The biggest thing would be downturn and bad debts.

Between you and I, well yes, I have dabbled some cash in other shares. On occasion, lets say double what I invested in that prior post of mine.

All blue chip though except on one occasion I think. Chasing divi's or going for that quick in and out for a small profit Over 50 trades last financial year.

Over the moon when they go up. Opposite when they go the other way. And of course when you don't hold long term you miss out! Gotta bet with your head.

Very impressive when your playing with those number's 500k plus you would want to have strong existing views and openness to the challenge once you step into the waiting list once the order is placed could well turn into a 25k week..Well done ...

Thanks. I'm dreaming millions one day. lol.

I usually buy at market price so no waiting. I use the GI method (Gut Instinct) and the BNWL method (Buy Now Worry Later).

I usually buy from off the depth. Take out an "ask" when buying or take out a "bid" when selling.
Sometimes the bots beat me to it and part or all of the order ends up on the list,1st in line, but usually gets done within a few minutes anyway.
Love the BNWL method datto! lol

How could you go wrong as i only hope you are serious maybe the talking to the cleaner after having a winnie blue near the dis-charge vents has paid off..My method like what you will become is the sheep in wolf's clothing pattern as no one including governance regulatory compliance have any idea on the management of responsible equities investing in place to prevent investors from harming themselves ..

    How can it get worse?

More capital raises (diluting your holding)

    Revenue and earnings declines

    Dividend cuts.

Not sure why a business you think wont grow for 5 years is a buy?

    I fluked a AMP parcel at $1.62.

I think they'll get the life insurance sale done next year and core results will hold up. If lucky, dividend will be reinstated at end of next year too.
