I would also consider CGF or MQG before AMP

There is not much room for AMP growth already has 17% market share. NWL only has about 2% but plenty of room for growth.

NWL could grow 20 times. AMP cant do it twice.

    CBA:
    Mar 99 $200K
    Today: $1.75m dividends reinvested
$551K dividends not reinvested, plus $428K dividends to spend

    BHP:
    Jun 99 $200K
    Today: $2.42m dividends reinvested
$1.126m dividends not reinvested plus $526K dividends to spend

How it is worked out was on the dividend date payable, those dividends are used to buy at the closing price of the same date and so on if that makes sense.
CBA I know is spot on, but I will check BHP as they did have a split in the time period just to make sure but they did have some rampant years from 09 to 12.
I have attached PDFs of BHP with and without reinvestment it hasn’t moved in 10 years and CBA has only moved at a little over 5%

Intrigued--Again,thanks for your time to post those numbers ..Even with all the bumps in the road as i have held both BHP and CBA for what seems like a life-time and no matter what happens in the future will still hold and hopefully the Wife will do the same when i'm gone..

NWL is looking cheaper now but has a high PE ratio and will need to maintain growth but increasing revenue can soon make what appears expensive cheap., Very impressive results operating profit margin (EBITA) 52,6%, It doesn't capitalize R&D making the results more impressive. Meaning it takes lower profits now for higher future profits. That result beats the best software business's in the world including ALU which just meet high expectation and had a rally. NWL funds under management increased 30%.

What do you think about AMP now that they've sold off some businesses and raised some capital?

I think it's a bit of overreaction of an year-old news. Now that it is listed in ASX300, I think it will hit $2.
I bought around again around the $1 mark. already 20% up. I'll be looking to sell around 1.5 mark.

How do you find out about companies and buy before they hit the asx? I'm new to the asx. Osteopore has indeed risen in price! Nice profit in 2 weeks!

You need to get a prospectus from the company you are interested in, A good place to get info and different perspectives. for coming IPOs is AFR.
