I think Afterpay will go below $10 pretty soon. I don't own, but it is a tough one to judge. It is killing it, but this regulatory risk could be a death knell. Given it doesn't build up debt on people I doubt they will have a heap of damaging sob stories from users, but there are some damning anecdotes of children or bankrupt people easily accessing it and using it.

anyone who bought afterpay thinking its investment didnt know whats going on was just buying into the hype.

but if u were speculative, well then you win some you lose some. xD

my thoughts on afterpay, mid sept.. should have short it!
How are we doing? Advice sought.

I am in the shorting game and I done it for a while it look easy looking back but you can’t short hype as you can’t control your risk because it can go really crazy and wipe you out, it can go up 100% or down 50% or whatever the volatility is just too great

To win you really have to be spot on timing and this is a 50% chance I prefer slow risk control and grinding back.
Most of my winning short are not hype stock but on the business valuation that done its run or facing head wind like banks and due for a fall back and I can’t get caught up in the trap it can jump 20% or 50% or 100%

Well I am quite surprised by the bounce in APT today. Seems like a great chance for shaky holders to jump.

I am not invested in, but watch the milk powder stocks quite closely. Both A2M and BAL have been in a consistent downtrend for a while. I don't think they are looking cheap, but following along.

and that I am talking about these stock, hard to short, it goes all over the place more like a gamble, I am more measure risk control and take smaller gained and do it with greater accuracy but it is a very good to ride if you get in early, I have been in a few in my life time and it great wealth builder just don't get greedy, get out and locked the money in something more solid

imho i find a2m abit safer than bal, they have less fluctuation and have their "patent" and licenses in place always before bal.

a2m confirmed guidance again, these small/med cap and their speculative guidance..

thats it its for abit of fun and games,

interesting to see how apt do today especially its friday. plenty of "sheeps" might get bitten yesterday.

There is only one question investors need to ask themselves is whether they will be willing to buy early and ride a downturn..

Anyone have any thoughts on how long this dip will last? Trying to decide when/what/if I should buy something

Haven't a clue and all else is just guesswork, reading of chicken entrails and tea leaves, beautiful charts notwithstanding in my opinion. A very few get in right but they are as rare as rocking horse poo.

Is that just because they are selling their insurance business or something else?

Hi, it's an ugly time in the stock market. I did sell AMP at $800 loss but I can't say my other shares have fared any better.

    Hoping for a better tomorrow.

Just a normal day ,when you look at the sales volumes in some listed equities -there are still more buyers then sellers ,but if market crowd sentiment changed then some may just sell..
After all it's just one day and ÏFyou have a large enough spread between different sectors you would be way ahead of the vast majority of media analysts and writers and reporters", and way ahead of most fund managers and professionals..

Does everyone more experienced than me (that isn't hard.. I've got no idea) think AMP has been oversold and worth buying now? Thanks
