    That’s true, sorry!

A2M has had an amazing run this year, I wonder if it’ll keep going. Last week has seen some weakness but the momentum is huge!
I know there is a specific thread for it and it does not look cheap, but wondering is anyone is riding this gravy train?
I have a very tiny piece bought at $5 (already thought it was very pricey) and together with what I have in NUH, these are my only 2 speculative holdings.
Wish I jumped aboard the A2 train in January

I did write on here a few months ago to buy A2Milk saying it will soon jump over $4 . Unfortunately some people chose to belittle me with their comnents at the time.

    I bought 10,000 at $3.54 and sold for $7.15

I would like to see some evidence of these transactions. You can black out the private parts if you wish.

Not calling anyone a liar. I just think that if someone made such money ( especially after being criticised) then they would have been shouting it from the mountain top a long time ago.

    What about your TLS recommendation?

Based on? I sold out of FMG, my understanding is their earnings are expected to fall.

    Why?

    again why?

and you also predict MYER will do well.

Almost a diversified portfolio there. Not trying to be rude or belittle you, not a lot of information on where all these recommendations are coming from/based on is all.

Thank you kindly for illustrating my point Nodrog. As the chart shows the growth of BRK. As we all know BRK doesn't pay a dividend, well maybe it did once in 1967. It just goes to show what can be obtained by reinvesting profits. Also thank you for validating my point by showing how by using the smoke and mirrors of a chart showing showing accumulation can disguise how badly a company is performing and how sheeple can be mislead by the likes of Peter Thornhill. WHF WAS YEILDING 9% in 2007, AND THE SHARE PRICE WAS HIGHER THAN IT IS NOW AT $4.87. It is now Yeilding about 3% with a share price less than it was 10 years ago at $4.65. Over 5 years it share price dropped 2.00 or an average of 40c a year while its YEILD dropped to almost zero%. May be you would like to share a chart of Amazon too, another company that doesn't pay dividends.

I have no idea what you’re on about to be honest:confused:. I’m comparing total return of both which is the only way for a fair comparison. Total return for BRK is its share price. Total return for WHF is its share price plus dividends. As for the last 5 years WHF’s NTA Accumulation growth has been 15.3%.

My hold & hope stocks PLS & ISX also travelling nicely. Almost got the cost back by selling average up. Again, happy to exit early. No regrets if it goes higher.
    TLS is 9% down though.

    I play Three ways.
Stocks aimed to give a bit of dividend (45% of portfolio).Eg: TLS, MYR, CBA, SOL

Stocks I know/comfortable with (Eg: PLS, ISX), 35% of the portfolio, I go in with a bit of higher budget. Add similar parcel every 5-10% drop. Then sell them in parcels at every 10-20% gain.

Gambling stocks or purely based other's recommendations (Eg: AJM, AVZ, MUS, JRV, SYR. ORE, NUH & AGY) I go in with very little. About 8 of them making up 20% of the portfolio. I add a bit if they drop below 5-10%. If I had to top up them I sell them when they are in 10% green. Otherwise, sell them ALL once I get 30-50%.

    I'm just learning by experimenting.

Almost looks like a reversion to an earlier mean.
Sorry you had such a hard lesson.

After such a tough lesson what's the game plan? Less commitment of capital to volatile growth stocks? Stay the course? Join the good ship boglehead on the way to biege island?

That entire conglomerate region of Juniors in Novo's area is up multi bags for me for awhile now.
Its been fantastic for me personally,
They are all up so much I no longer bother hedging the rest of my gold miners with JDUST or DUST when there's a down swing in the POG, they have more than made up for it.

.......future NR's over the next few months will be interesting, lets see.
