How old is your pomegranate tree? Where did you get it from?

I got the pomegranate tree from Bunnings. It was about $15. It's quite slow growing (well, it has been for me anyway). I've given it fertiliser for stone fruits. I'm hoping that will make it grow faster.

The tree is about two years old. It spent the first six months in a pot and then got put in the ground. It's not very big--just over one metre high. It was about 50 cms when I first got it.

Around Sydney on the coast. Friends grow them successfully so I put them in.

Potatoes, main crop, alpine strawberries too delicious to make it to the kitchen, blackberrries, onions, black currant and raspberries (ok we make jam out of them)

We've got 2 apples(granny and pink lady), 2 cherries (cant remember types), loquat, dwarf peach, raspberry bush, mandarin, pomegranate, 2 lemons, orange, mint, strawberries, corn, lettuce, zucchini and 2 plum trees that got killed in the recent storm. All severely neglected since bub came along.

Some very impressive lists here. I want a passionfruit vine! Can you get them now? Obviously, yes.
I have a mandarin tree and an almond tree. Not sure what the other citrus trees are yet. Looking forward to establishing a decent veggie patch.

I have two massive kiwi vines. They flower but no fruits in last 5 years!
I think the garden guy must have tricked me.

Maybe the issue lies with the soil.

Passion fruit are easy. Go to Bunnings, pick a colour, purchase, dig a hole at home and chuck it would in. Oh and throw some water at it when you remember from time to time. Make good screens from neighbors too.

Correct. Plant something easy to enjoy the fruits. Patience and time.

Last week one of my students gave me a home grown cucumber. It chopped up easily so I decided to eat the whole thing for dinner with some almonds. It was so crunchy and refreshing - the most delicious cucumber I've ever eaten!
