    @wogitalia I somewhat agree that irregular shaped land and battle axe blocks are not so bad.
    For IP with development potential, ok let's think some more. But..
    For PPOR, emotion is at play and I've seen some lovely and unique blocks making use of unusual dimensions, whether that be creating an interesting space in the case of irregular shaped land, or giving affordability to people in a particular suburb in the case of a battle axe block.

    Things that turn me off for PPOR are:
    • Close to main road
    • Noise
    • No park land in the neighbourhood
    • Poorly / cheaply build house (becoming frequent in today's new/recent build market)
    • Bland looking house and block (also becoming frequent in today's new/recent build market)
    • Bad smells in area or in the house itself. I once looked at a near new place where the owner smoked inside - I'm sure they lost at least 10% of the asking price right off the bat for this.
    • A dark, dated or high maintenance houses.
    • Off the plan properties.
