One of those Facebook fun things people do. Often it's completely laughable.
Anyway, a friend got this and to her it seems not possible if you look at her comment. To me... its entirely plausible.

    2016-11-12 07.47.17.png
It took too long for me to see what the site said for me (who knows, maybe it was trying to load some viruses).

Anyway. I think the question should be What will you do in 2017-2020? (I don't like the "What will happen to you" phrasing as it implies you don't control it)

This is what I forsee for myself:
    2016
    : Bought amazing PPOR
    * Sold old PPOR
    * Sell IP
    * Start a Company
    * Settle another purchased IP

2017: Complete minor Reno new IP
    * Either stay in current job or get a better paid job
    * Put together plans for new IP development
    * ?Sell another IP Sydney (second half 2017).
    * If I can find some great cashflowing commercial deals....

2018: Keep on the lookout for opportunities

2019: Probably more of the same 2018.

2020: Watch money roll in... Work 3 days a week (because it sounds like a good plan!) :p

Question for me to ponder: I should probably take action on the new IP development sooner rather than later as the current cashflow on the current house isn't particularly strong. And I believe the area will boom....

Look totally possible for you @Gockie :D

    2016:
    - bought PPOR land
    - bought one IP
    - do a (forced) renovation on that IP

    2017:
    - PPOR build
    - move down to Vic
    - find new (better pay, hopefully) job
    - quick Holiday to Japan

    2018-2020
    - buy another IP in 2018
    - star diversifying to other asset class
    - build buffer and keep building buffer
    - build opportunity to take time off work for 6 months or so

Not sure how possible they are but can only try o_O

Wow... move down to Vic? Good luck with it! :). Ps. Yours is entirely possible too. You might find you do more than you plan...

I hope so, like never going back to work instead of just 6 months :D Yes down to Melbourne to enjoy living in a house instead of city box (although it's a pretty nice box)

Don't forget to do something for the community and pro bono work. But really at the end of the day my parents and family members (not all because some are idioits and my tolerance is 5 minutes tops for them) and learn as much as I can.

Also, give mini heart attacks to my boss every now and than for abit of fun.

OMG, that is so boring. Might have to find something exciting to do.

If The Donald can become US President; maybe, kierank can become Oz PM :) :).

I'd like to quadruple my wealth by 2020. I was going to say 5 times my wealth but I'm not sure what the word for 5 times is. Anyway, what's an extra $20.

Thanks for that. I see the number 5 must mean a lot to you lol.

Anyway, it's hardly a word you'd hear around the Druitt. Same goes for quadruple. "Double or nuffin" is pretty common though.

Number 5 means a lot to me as it took me five attempts in 1 month to sign up to this site from overseas.
Somehow I kept getting the wrong answer every time the verification question came up.

Question like "what is the capital city of Victoria or NSW?"
I typed in "Melbourne or Sydney" it did not let me sign in, instead the system thought that I was a robot. Meanwhile, I kept hearing this place called Mt. Druitt on many of the thread, so perhaps if I typed in "Mt Druitt" as the capital city of NSW, the system might recognize me as a person who have been reading a lot on this forum and decided to let me in. I really wished that Mt Druitt was the answer to the capital city question, but it did not work either.

It was the hardest property investing journey for me.
Long story short, I am in now, so I want to quintuple my portfolio by 2020.

    2017 - reap the seeds sewn from 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016.
    2018 - more reaping
    2019 - more reaping
    2020 - start planting again.

Yes, yes we're fairly consistent and boring

2017- Equity out and build two dual occs. (One out of four units will be for downsizing parents)
    2018- As above.
    2019- New PPOR
2020 and beyond, retire PPOR debt priority, begin IP debt reduction.
    2025- Target "soft" retirement age.

    Nice thread.
Current situation, PPOR at around 68% LVR and existing IP at around 45% and here's the plan.

2017- Keep paying off PPOR bought in 2014 (Offset account and IO loan + line of credit).
2018- Keep paying off PPOR and start looking into setting up SMSF to buy a third IP(getting closer to 30% deposit for a good rental...)
2019- Keep paying off PPOR and if i'm feeling comfortable about the market and economy, buy a fourth IP using PPOR equity or existing line of credit ...
    2020- Keep paying off PPOR

I'd like to hold and generate rental income at the end of the day so hoping to payoff PPOR asap(6 years if current low Interest rates persist) and begin IP debt reduction on property bought in 2011 which would be paying off for itself buy then.

From a personal perspective, staying single and keep enjoying life lol

    - have our first child :) only 9 weeks to go!
    - continue building share portfolio and continue debt recycling strategies
    - pick up another property in a moving market

    2018
    - continue building share portfolio and continue debt recycling strategies
    - pick up another property in a moving market

    2019
    - continue building share portfolio and continue debt recycling strategies
    - pick up another property in a moving market

    2020
    - continue building share portfolio and continue debt recycling strategies
    - pick up another property in a moving market
    - maybe another baby :)

    Hmm... looks pretty consistent.

Maybe I should add some fun things in:
    2017:
    - finish landscaping the yard with new veggie gardens, fruit trees, retaining walls and seating area
    - bag and paint the house
    - build a nice big deck out back

    2018:
    - renovate the bathroom and laundry

2018 - massive debit reduction, more travel, possibly more shares and work on new community project
2019 - final big year of debit reduction maybe trade an ip. Plan renovations on ppor
2020 - celebrate paid off ppor, turning 40, reaching career goal and goal payg salary. travel to Africa with family. Start renovations on ppor.
