it a question really for my stock market investment,
I have a reasonable holding in domain group shares and it making me good money
I am about to embark on investing a lot more and increase my holding
    just gather some research information

From what I'm seeing, RE.com may be the first go to, then domain then others?

You may get more responses if you posted in the 'where to buy' or resources section? (an idea only, I understand your reason for asking, being investing based rather than posting a property for sale/rent)

I goto re, but if I'm browsing a forum or gumtree eBay etc and the adds come up on the side and I click it'll direct me to domain.
Also when I do my weekly auction results search it's done via domain but I never physically punch in domain on search engine

It is a duopoly market either RE or Domain, they own the majority of all the sites you visit under different banners.

Both will continue to prosper well into the future
My research seeing that domain may start gaining traction and cut into RE market if that the case adding more domain investment is even more compelling.

I am making a case of putting more in I already have decent stake under $3.

Nine take over of fxj is just more fuel added for domain.

What makes you say that? I think its very state and area based.

I don't know anyone in WA that uses Domain for example.

Their revenue is growing faster than RE in Australia but from a smaller based, RE is a lot much larger business also with nine and fxj combine it has a more exposure and cross promotion far more power than news Corp who owns RE.

If nine get fxj who owns 60% of domain I expect nine to come back and bid for 40% of domain they don’t own so domains has all the tail wind from here on.

Both are good business and they have their uniqueness same goes for Allhomes all ACT probably only use that
