    Hi All,

I am looking to buy some roof racks for my 2008 Holden Astra station wagon.

Can i put any type of roof rack on the car or must they be specific to the car?

    Cheers,
    Robbie

@robbie_p Sometimes depends on what exactly you want to transport up on there?
A luggage pod? a bicycle? a kayak? etc?
Look at what you want it to achieve, then work back from there.

They are specific to the car roof type. Gutter vs channel vs inbuilt rails which yours appears to have.

    Hi,

I guess i dont plan to put any crazy amount of weight on the roof. Perhaps a kayak or surfboard?

I think i have inbuilt rails.

    Cheers,
    Robbie
