What to do with backyard when grass died

    We used to stay there before moving out and it was not that bad, having some brown patches here and there but I still had to mow it in summer so I think sunlight is not an issue. The whole yard is about twice as large as the photo (this is the right side), about 50m2.

    Thanks for the suggestion WestOz. I'll start small by getting some grass fertilizer, put some seed in, water them regularly and see how it goes.

    Even if fertilised, watered everyday, a contractor once a fortnight or TLC from tenant etc, without required few hours midday sun it will always suffer, especially if a tenant has kid/s &/or dog/s running around on it.
