    People reply to posts seeking advice in a way that assumes you're a scumlord and you want the fastest and most cost effective solution.

    I don't expect investors rely solely on forums for all the answers.
    Its a start, stepping stone, but more to investing than a forum, IMHO

    What they dont tell you???

    use a forum for leads, a stepping stone

    the only way to work out what is fact or fiction is by contacting many realtors on the ground and valuers can be helpful

    We get plenty of hyped up threads on where to buy, some have actually happened, boom in Melb, Syd, and Perth (shorter cycle)

    Brissy been going for a while, still a fragmented market, but lets see there are some bright spots I guess.

    But my point was don't buy if you don't understand what is happening, don't rely just on a forum for the answers.

    Agree. Dont rely on anyone else for your answers. By all means, listen. But then verify!

    There are probably only half a dozen to 8 ppl on here who's opinion I value and I still wouldnt act on advice from them before doing my thorough DD on their advice and the topic in general.
