    Default settings for the forum software have you starting at:
    • "New Member" at 0 posts, then
    • "Member" once you have made 5 posts,
    • "Active Member" when you have 25 posts, and
    • "Well-Known Member" once you have made 45 posts
    One of these days I'll get around to changing how all of that works :rolleyes:

    thanks @Simon Hampel. maybe now we need a disclaimer that well-known member does not mean a knowledgeable contributor! :p
    anyway, here is me. in late thirties. become interested in property in last few months when I lost a bit of passion in my profession.. my main strategy is long term hold, CF neutral or slightly positive. May diversify with good CF properties depending on whats happening where. eyes and ears on this forum! cash aside for @Biz next hot spot!!
    now looking for ppor at newcastle. then hoping to buy a couple of ips in regional in early 2016 (also looking intensely at brisbane like others do :D). a bit slow now as dragging uninterested partner along :mad:, also a bit of serviceability as we are working casual.and of course steep learning curve and analysis paralysis :D
    planning to claw back in syd (my last lost battle) once @sash & @See Change signal ;)
    learning enormously here esp @Terry_w.
    next couple of years would be interesting :)

    Yes, wait for the signal for sure, they seem to get it right when it comes to identifying early signs of rising markets.
