Rather than start up all these scatter-gun threads, have you tried the search function? 260 pages of info under the title "Brisbane looks good" - and that's just a start.

There are some incredibly knowledgable people on here, and I learn something every day by following the forums. But keep in mind you are asking a bunch of strangers with different philosophies, strategies and life positions for general advice. Before you unload a significant amount of your hard earned I would suggest you:

    A) read, read, and then read - forums, books, magazines, whatever floats your boat

And B) pay for some specific advice relevant to your own goals and situation - mortgage broker, buyers agent, accountant.

Trust me, you will get a better result in the long run.

Do a search on here and read through the Brisbane threads. If you can't form your own opinion you'll be making a major purchase based on advice from anonymous strangers. Seriously..or hire a BA but even then you need some knowledge yourself to work out whether or not what you're hearing rings true.

Yes. You've been asking the same question in different forms. Search the thread, read and question. Ask questions. The way you're doing it right now gives the impression you want quick answers.

    that's right.
there is no real shortcut to doing some hard earned DD. This forum can help for sure, but its only one aspect of what should be a multi pronged approach to DD, which may or may not include hired help eg BA depending on your knowledge, etc.
The mistake I have noticed quite a few people make is coming to this forum and seeking immediate answers and thinking that negates any requirement to do DD themselves.

I know a PPoR is an investment too, but the title should have said owners not investors I reckon:
"INVESTORS are on the hunt for properties just a stones throw away from Brisbane’s CBD, steering clear of inner-city living."
