Just for a bit of fun ...

Are you the kind of person who gets suited up ready for work, even if you aren't leaving the house?

Or are you a tshirt and trackies kind of person - comfort helps productivity.

Perhaps you a strong believer that webcams are for head and shoulders only and you believe pants are optional?

Personally, I'm very much in the tshirt and trackies camp - and unless I have to do the morning school run for the kids, I'll typically leave the shower until mid-morning, I find it a great way to take a break from work and relax the mind and refresh the body, ready to tackle the rest of the day.

The only gotcha is remembering that bed hair on webcams isn't always going to be taken as professional.

For some, when they do eventually emerge from the cave, are going to have "bed" hair. Very scruffy indeed. No barbers.

Pjs all day! I’m teaching over Zoom so I make sure my top doesn’t look like pjs and I usually have a shower.

My hair grows really fast - after a haircut it's only 2-3 weeks before I'm getting bed hair again. It's so annoying.

At least it only takes 5 mins or so to do my hair - #2 clipper cut all over. I stopped letting it grow out because my hair is super fine and refuses to be styled. Cutting it really short is far easier to manage and means that most of the time I just don't need to worry about it.

When my wife does the kids hair, we literally set aside an entire day - both kids are adopted and of African descent and have tight curly hair that requires a lot of attention.

Another good reason for my #2 all over clipper cut - we can do it ourselves (I'm not clever enough to do it all myself).

My wife did ask me to trim her hair the other day - she just wanted me to neaten up the ends at the back a bit, I'm not sure if I did a good job (zero training, even less skill), but she hasn't complained, so I'm hoping I passed.

    Give it time.

Given the drift a number of these posts should probably be moved to the Coronavirus Humour but I shudder at the thought of breaking with tradition.

Yes - I'm getting rather shaggy and think I'm going to have to break out the dog clippers before too much longer

    All of the above!

I do like to get dressed properly most days, and b/c I’m on camera a lot I tend to be fully dressed - but just no shoes.

I admit though, that there were a few hot days where I was filming with no pants. :D My kids thought it was hilarious.

Rob is definitely t-shirt and trackies though, b/c no-one ever sees him.

Same here - my $40 Costco Wahl clippers have paid for themselves many times over. Next cut I'm tempted to see what I look like with #1 on the grounds that if it's a disaster it will have grown back before I meet anyone F2F
