    I have many, but a couple that stand out for me ...

    SS member posting number of homes/units listed for sale each month. From this I watched the listings drop and this market boom. (Perth market in 2013)

    SS members posting on their experience in the USA market, this inspired me to start digging a little deeper. I also met some great people along the way.

    PC a member posted something that really hit home to me, I have changed my thinking somewhat...... "investors who think their way is the only way are basically fanatics". In other words, many ways to skin a cat.

    MTR:)

    @Westminster's posts on development. Not any one in particular but they have inspired me to undertake my own development. The first one is a learning experience for me so I have kept it small and manageable. I don't think you can learn this stuff without doing it yourself.

    In the past at SS I had a pm recommended and they are still the best pm I've had manage a property.

    Recently also had contact with a couple of members of propertychat professionally and all going really well so far. Will probably post more details soon.

    I find the site and many posts engaging if not educational. :D

    Er.... all of it? Read all the posts for a year before buying my first PPOR.

    The knowledge that I gained here meant that I dodged thousands of bullets...and ended up buying well.

    Very grateful!

    Just being in an environment with so many like minded and financially successful people is quite inspiring and humbling to me. Some of my most satisfying moments have been when someone PMed me ( no idea this person was following my posts) to thank me for my input and feeling it changed their lives. Very satisfying knowing you've made some real positive impact to someone's life who you didn't know existed a moment ago.

    The contributions made by several experienced investors here have guided my investment journey but in particular @euro73, @Terry_w and @sash. These three members have influenced my investment strategy more than any other.

    But overall this forum as a whole has benefited me a lot and I honestly can't imagine where I'd be today if it wasn't for PropertyChat.

    Probably still living at home, scared to touch my savings. :)

    Yes, best way to learn is getting your hands dirty. WM inspired me to start developing as well. Now onto development number 6.

    Real life example of what's possible. It's also the community I turned to whenever I come across challenges with investing - not something that my peers could have provided.

    Also met and become friends (well, in my point of view they are friends) with some PC members in real life, expanding my otherwise tiny social circle :)

    Posts from @Leo2413 and @Steven Ryan. Both of whom are young men who are and will be very successful investors. However whom both see investing for what it is and maintain a high level of emotional Intelligence. They both think differently.
    Never met either of them. But I’m sure we would get on well.

    Plus my doppelgänger who I can’t be in the same room as (@D.T.)

    I made babies with one member on here. 2 sets of twins. You know who @Westminster

    I have a couple of investors that have also become good friends, we still bounce ideas, deals/numbers etc regularly... you can never stop learning.

    Somehow becoming facebook friends with wombat and him becoming my best online friend when he made me a 300% return based on his hard work. He is still waiting for me to repay the favour.

    As far as posts go:
    @skater and @ellejay and @D.T. for strategy and common sense if you weren't handed money on a silver platter
    @euro73 always worth reading
    @Terry_w and @Redom for banking strategies and balanced pov. All the brokers provide helpful posts to new members: @Corey Batt @Jess Peletier @Peter_Tersteeg are helpful and sensible on th eforum, anyway.
    @wylie and @Westminster @Scott No Mates @dabbler @WestOz for renos and/or styling
    @EN710 and @pinkboy for anything paint, common sense and/or irony. @Biz too.
    There are heaps more who I really like but I can't name them all.
    Oh and @TMNT for entertainment value. :p
