What is "Spy" in the blue header?

    I just added a photo as my avatar and when I clicked "yes" to accept the photo and then went back to the main page, there is a new thing in the blue header called "Spy". Is this just a coincidence?

    Have I done something wrong, and what is "Spy"?. The explanation when I click on it isn't very clear to me.

    It's a new feature I'm trialling (the timing of it appearing is just a coincidence - I only just installed it).

    It just gives you a running commentary of new things happening on the site. Not sure whether I'll keep it or not.

    Wylie - it's a real time version of "new posts", basically - you can just leave the "Spy" page open and it updates to show you new posts without you having to even refresh the page.

    Phew! Just bad timing. I thought I'd somehow changed the world as we know it by uploading a photo :p.

    I've decided to disable this for now - will need to customise it from the default behaviour so I can adjust the name and where the link appears.

    It's on the TODO list :rolleyes:

    Yeah, I also clicked into it when the link was still active and I was on my phone. It just kept refreshing and moving.......made me a little dizzy :p

    Ha, click on it, a person drying themselves in the bathroom appears, looks up and quickly covers up "Spy!".
