    You are a straddler (ouch!)

I have a straddler sibling who acts like a boomer and despises them at the same time. I think straddlers are allowed their cake and eat it too.

I'm tail end of Gen X

It's amusing having my Gen Z teenager already complaining about how my generation is destroying their opportunities.

My Gen Alpha son is only 11, but loves smashed avo on toast - there's no hope for him.

It makes me feel sad that Scomo is a Gen X though. More of a Boomer vibe

In soviet union the death from WW2 was so huge, and the loss of many children as well, that the population was decreased (after the Russians won on Eastern front). They didn't have boomers at all.

    Hard to imagine

If the current generation is known as Generation Alpha... at some point in the future, there's going to be a... Generation Omicron...

I assume you are Gen X then? I think to our kids, it's all the same to them - people they consider "old" are all "boomers". I don't personally take it as an insult, but a compliment really. In some cultures, those who are older are seen as wiser and to be respected.

I'm definitely looking forward to it. The discount you get at all-you-can-eat buffets is enormous...

The poll says currently less than 16% are BB.

Either I am a very young minded BB or I am on the wrong forum? :D

    Probably the second

    I'm surprised too.

Maybe they don't use the interwebs as much?

"While this point goes to older Australians based on the data, it’s an economy wide measure and not indicative solely of the spending habits of younger Australians."

It only gives you a free or discounted coffee and a slight discount on some entries. It costs the Govt nothing.
